The design preserves traditional design proportions by featuring a classic, deep 177mm bottom rail alongside a 25mm weatherboard to effectively deflect rainwater away from the threshold.
Flush French Doors
Coluxor flush French doors are engineered to replicate the elegant proportions of period architecture, where the door leaves sit completely level within the outer frame. Specifically designed to match our flush casement window range, these doors preserve the historical authenticity of heritage and listed properties.
To meet strict conservation criteria or architectural preferences, they can be specified with either specialized Single Glazing (4mm to 6.5mm) or Slimline Glazing featuring a narrow 16mm cavity.

The slave leaf functions as the secondary panel that is opened less frequently; it typically anchors firmly into secure locking points within the main door frame or the master leaf itself.
Can I have parliament hinges on your French Doors?
We do not supply parliament hinges for our French doors because they generally lack the necessary adjustability required for heavy timber doors over time. Instead, we equip our doors with premium, corrosion-resistant, fully adjustable hinges from SFS Intec, specifically utilizing the Easy 3D and SFS Just 3D hinge systems to ensure long-term, flawless alignment and smooth operation.
How many locking points do your French door locks have?

No, they cannot. To prevent damage from the wind and protect the structural integrity of the frame, our entire range of outward-opening French doors is fitted with restrictors that limit the opening angle to exactly 90 degrees.
Can I have handles only on the inside of my French doors?
Yes, you can configure your French doors with internal handles only. This internal-only setup is a popular choice for inward-opening balcony doors and is compatible with our Balmoral and Balmoral Swan door handle styles. To complete the installation and ensure everything is firmly secured, a neat blanking plate is installed on the exterior side of the door to lock the internal handle safely in position.
At what height does a French door require a double handle?
Our French doors that are above 2.3 meters high will automatically be equipped with handles on both the lead and slave leaves. This integrated double locking system provides enhanced stability and additional peace of mind, ensuring that doors of such large proportions remain perfectly secure.
What does handle operated mean?
